This book was originally written with the intent of keeping a record of all that God has done in my life. When I was 30 years old, I began to seek after God for healing, with all of my heart. As I dug deep in the word and studied, I became amazed at what truths I discovered. Everything I learned I would share with my children. I was so excited about God and His power and truth that learning was contagious in my home. I would learn something new and I shared it that same day, a continuous stream of learning and sharing. Thirteen years later, it is still the same. I am still learning, and I am still sharing, and I assumed my kids were all learning along with me.

- As a follower of Jesus Christ, we do not ever need to live tyrannized by condemnation!
- As a follower of Jesus Christ, we do not ever need to live paralyzed by ‘unforgiveness’!
It is a gift from God to live at peace. This book will help you navigate through some of life’s tough issues to come to a place of deep inner peace. If you have ever felt afraid, ever felt bad about yourself or live with unforgiveness in your heart-this book is for you. If you struggle with addictive behaviors-this book is for you. If you do not know how precious and valuable you are to God- this book is for you. If you want to read a testimony of a life transformed by God-this book is for you.
I have found Pursuing Peace: Overcoming Fear, Condemnation, and Unforgiveness to be a very interesting and intriguing book, especially since the author is my one and only daughter-in-law, Jennifer. But aside from that special relationship, I would still have found this very transparent auto-biographical journey of a lovely young woman to be quite captivating reading.
Jen tells us of several of her spiritual and emotional struggles in the arena of life including her battle with fear, which eventually developed into a strong and vibrant faith. It is exciting to read and to understand that she has become a triumphant victor, not a trembling victim!
Since I have been a witness to some of these struggles, I can attest to the truth of her story. She is a remarkable woman! As the mother of seven beautiful, well-mannered, well-educated children, she has made major accomplishments in her personal life, her life as a wife, and her life as a mother. . . a mother who is successfully home-schooling her entire family!
I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has been challenged to win over fears and doubts and ‘baggage from the past’ . . . because if Jen can be a winner . . . so, can you!
Her story is thrilling! With God all things are possible! She is living proof that believing and living out the truths of God’s Word works!VIC SCHOBER
